Executive Producer, Filmmaker, and Creative Consultant for over 13+ years. Former Executive Producer at media conglomerate Network18. Executive Producer on a 2 part documentary series for CNA Insider (Singapore) - We Don’t play Dolly, which won Gold at the Cannes MIPCOM Diversify TV awards in 2022. Her independently produced fiction short film Notary won gold at The Independent Short Awards, LA, in August 2019. Her short film was screened at the Jaipur International Film Festival and 22 other Indian and International film festivals, winning various awards, including Best Debut Director. She was recently invited to the Board of Studies at Mount Carmel College, Bangalore, to bring in a well-rounded, industry approach to the syllabus of literature studies. Pooja Sampath currently works as a VFX Production Manager with Fxtogo, a studio in Babelsberg, Germany. At any given point in time, she is involved in documentary productions in the capacity of an executive producer and creative consultant. Her projects currently include screenwriting a fiction feature film in South India; an independently produced feature documentary on the culture of seed-saving practices in India which is currently at the development stage, and another project discovering stories along the coast of TN for her latest documentary work on artificial reefs. Other than that Pooja is a certified scuba diver, free-diver, and an aspiring farmer who strives to involve stories from the natural environment in all her work as much as possible.
